our wedding day : beautiful reminders

I don’t know if you all ever saw our wedding invites / paperwork? While getting them printed was the biggest wedding headache I had, I loved the way they turned out. Our friend, Josh, designed them for us.
I doubt that our farm will ever look as beautiful as it did the summer we got married. Our family friends did so much work to help mow, paint, landscape and get everything picture perfect. They gave us this picture for our wedding:
On the back they wrote the sweetest note:
Dear Amelia - It was so nice working with your parents to prepare for your wedding. Adrienne put some pictures together to remind you how special the farm is. Owen {his son} once asked me if it is the prettiest farm in the world….I think it might be.
Our another friend of ours, Justin, gave us this picture with our married name made out of photos that he personally took. Many of these pictures are from around Columbus & Ohio State’s campus. Check out Justin’s work here.
Finally, the wedding gift that I gave to Matt. Believe it or not, I found this little gem in the skymall magazine (which was really fitting as I had been traveling a lot for work that summer of our wedding). It has an engraved plaque that says “The Adventures of Matt & Amelia - July 31, 2010” and came with different colored pins to mark our travels together, favorite places, dream trips and planned vacations:
