Workday Treats: Mini S’mores
Like the rest of the world, Matt and I faced new years day with more than a few extra LBs on the scale. I guess the past several months holidays will do that to you.
A few years ago we had a lot of success following Weight Watchers. We tracked points, measured portions and most importantly found a ton of awesome recipes that don’t make you feel like you’re missing out. Seriously. It taught us that eating healthy not only helps you lose weight, but you feel so.much.better.
Over the past year or so, we got lazy about tracking points even though we still used the recipes and ate mostly the same things. I justified running marathons as a reason to eat whatever I wanted. Yadda, yadda, yadda - we all know the excuses story.
So we started being diligent about WW again, and already feel SO much better. I did some research this weekend to try to dig up some new recipes and ideas on the new Points Plus system, and I found this little gem:

After a day full of eating as many raw veggies, fresh fruits and portioned out whole grains, it’s kind of nice to have a little treat. Especially in your lunch. Something to look forward to for 2 points:
- 1/4 cup of Fiber One Honey Squares cereal
- 15 mini marshmallows
- 1/2 TBSP semi-sweet chocolate chips

Buy the goods. Make the mix ahead in a snack back & enjoy a little bite in your lunch. Sure, I know there are a lot healthier options, but it’s definitely better than the alternative when you work in office that stocks the kitchen with this (no joke):
