I might be a bit late to the grilled pizza game, so my apologies in advance if this post is old news.
But you guys, grilled pizza???
My dear friend Liz & her husband were visiting this weekend. In passing they mentioned grilling pizza — a topic in which I’ve been interested, but never learned or tried.
Here’s the secret — it’s SO easy & there’s no clean-up. Not to mention, it tastes amazing.
Do you need more convincing? I think not.
Here’s the deal:
- Trader Joes fresh pizza dough (take out of bag, roll out in flour, spray with olive oil)
+ hot grill (put the dough down on the direct heat, wait for the dough to bubble)
+ toppings of your choice (flip over the dough, and just right there on the grill, throw on your toppings. Turn off the direct heat, close the lid and let met into a delicious, goey meal)
